Peruzzi was born on December 5, 1989, in Lagos State, Nigeria, to Igbo parents from Imo State.

Peruzzi began his music journey under the name TC Peruzzi while studying in Ukraine, releasing a few songs independently before returning to Nigeria.
His big break came in 2017 when he signed with Golden Boy Entertainment, releasing singles like “For Your Pocket” featuring LK Kuddy. His songwriting and vocals soon caught the attention of Davido, leading to his signing with Davido Music Worldwide (DMW) in 2018.
Under DMW, Peruzzi flourished — co-writing and performing on hit songs such as:
